mitch cagle | The Obama Administration today revealed that it will challenge the Arizona Immigration Law in
court. Using the Justice Department as some sort of political ploy is unjust at most and will not hold
up in court. First of all, the new law Arizona had adopted is the most responsible and logical thing
any state in its' position can do. The citizens of this great state have had enough irresponsibility and
do nothing attitude concerning the border between the US and Mexico, from the Federal government. To
uphold the law as described in the Constitution is every states right and responsibility to its' citizens.
It resent days, it has become known that the Obama Administration has no plans to secure the border
in fears that its so called amnesty for illegal immigrants will not pass into law. The thing is we must
secure our borders BEFORE we can do anything about amnesty. These people are here ILLEGALLY
and must be treated as such. To use the United States Justice Department to exploit some kind of
warped agenda is unacceptable. The people who hire these immigrants should also be punished to
the fullest extent of the law. Putting signs up at the border by the government says one thing and that
is that they can and will do nothing for the citizens of the United States. This should be a crime and
Arizona should take the Obama Administration to court for not upholding its own laws!
Because of the recent violence in Mexico makes it clear that its' president can do nothing to stop
this. It is spilling over the border and it must be stopped before more American citizens are killed. It is
the responsibility of the United States Government to do its JOB. Instead the individual states are
forced to use whatever resources it can to protect and defend its' citizens. It is shameful that this
band of village idiots in our government don't want to do what is right for its' own citizens. As the
governor of Arizona stated, "Mr. President, do your job!" .
As many as 33 states have adopted their own amendments similar the Arizona Immigration
law. Too many people have died because this issue has not been addressed. If this administration takes
Arizona's law to court it will lose but the time it takes this process to unfold will be costly not only to
the taxpayers but to this administrations’ integrity (if they have any left). Its time we work together to
uphold the Constitution and close the border to stop the flow of these Illegal immigrants. Everyday
citizens are asked for their identity whether it be a drivers license or birth certificate and we don't
pitch a fit why should these folks that are here ILLEGALLY say its racial profiling, give me a break!
